About La Poste
The designated operator of France, La Poste, wishes to inform other countries and their designated operators of developments regarding measures to combat COVID-19 and the new variant, Omicron.
On 27 December 2021, the French Government announced the latest measures to contain the COVID-19 pandemic, applicable from 3 January 2022 throughout all French territories. La Poste will be operating in strict compliance with all government-imposed measures.
La Poste is doing its utmost to ensure operational continuity and customer satisfaction. However, the current situation may have an impact on operations and La Poste is unable to guarantee normal operations or compliance with standards and delivery times for letter-post, parcel-post and EMS items. The business hours of postal establishments open to the public may also be affected.
