Australia. Mail delivery delays due to natural disasters
The designated operator of Australia, Australia Post, wishes to inform that the passage of cyclone Koji and subsequent flooding have resulted in road closures across parts of North Queensland as of 12 January 2026. Consequently, postal collections and deliveries in postcodes areas in the 4000–4999 range are currently subject to disruption.
In addition, bushfires in Victoria are affecting operations in multiple localities, also effective from 12 January 2026. Postcodes areas in the 3000–3999 range are experiencing delays, as road closures are hindering mail collection and delivery.
Australia Post thanks partners and customers for their understanding, and will keep them updated.
