Canada-contiunation of the national strike
Regrettably, we wish to inform you that the national strike continues. For the time being, all inbound mail to Canada is still being accepted at the airports. However, please note that there is no movement of mail in Canada. International items received as of November 15th are being held in secure containers and have not been processed. As such, no scans of any sort are available at this time, including item-level and receptacle scans. Once service resumes, items will be inducted, processed and delivered in a first-in, first out (FIFO) basis, and as quickly as possible. However, customers can expect delays as Canada Post manages volumes and stabilizes its operations.
Member countries can consult canadapost.ca/updateto receive regular updates on any service disruptions.
Canada Post remains committed to arriving at a negotiated agreement with the Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW), and thanks everyone their understanding.
