Canada Post has reported possible delays in the regions

The designated operator of Canada, Canada Post, informs that it has now resumed operations in the areas that were affected by Hurricane Fiona. Postal operations in the country have thus returned to normal with effect from 4 October 2022.

The designated operator of Canada, Canada Post, has informed that Hurricane Fiona has brought devastation to the Atlantic provinces of Canada.

The storm has caused huge amounts of damage across the provinces of Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island, with power lines and telephone lines down, hundreds of homes destroyed, and at least two deaths reported. Authorities are still assessing the damage and the work needed to reopen roads and restore power and communication.

The delivery of letter post, parcel post and EMS items is affected for the following forward sortation areas and postal codes:
