The designated operator of Malta, MaltaPost, wishes to inform other Union member countries and their designated operators that an increase in the COVID-19 infection rate is causing significant staff shortages at key processing and delivery locations.

MaltaPost is making every effort to ensure operational continuity. However, as a result of the staff shortages, it is unable to guarantee normal operations or compliance with standard delivery times.

MaltaPost thanks all Union member countries and their designated operators for their understanding, and will keep them updated.
