PostNL – operational disruptions due to the storm

PostNL wishes to inform that storm “Eunice” has reached The Netherlands and is causing operational disruptions. Many flights to and from Schiphol airport have been cancelled for 18 February, departures of ferry’s to GB and IE are delayed or cancelled and international truck departures are not as scheduled. OE-activities are limited because public transport in The Netherlands has been stopped and people are strongly advised not to go on the road, so employees are not able to travel to the OE or to the domestic sorting centres.

Domestic collection/transport/sorting and delivery of mail and parcels in the Netherlands will also be impacted.

PostNL is already arranging additional processing capacity but the situation might still have an impact on performance also early next week.
