Regarding delivery delays in Italy
With reference to previous messages, Poste Italiane wishes to inform its partners about the following updates:
1. other errors are being received from the customs systems, slowing the customs processes down for Parcels/EMS and Packets. Our IT experts are continuously working to solve these issues, together with their Customs counterparts.
2. data transmission disruptions continue and worsened, especially for Parcels and EMS, which are being processed and delivered, but EMSEVT events are not sent, at present. Our internal data bases continue to be not completely aligned.
These disruptions have an impact on the T&T and on the ability of our Customer Service to answer the inquiries.
Poste Italiane apologizes for these drawbacks and will inform all partners by EER/EmIS messages as soon as possible.
