The designated postal operator of Türkiye, Turkish PTT Corporation, has shared an update about the postal services after the February 2023 earthquake:

•          In all affected areas (Gaziantep, Osmaniye, Adana, Kahramanmaraş, Hatay, Adıyaman etc.)  postal services have resumed and are operational.

•          Prefabricated Container PTT Offices and Mobile Vehicles mostly in Adıyaman, Hatay and other affected areas started to be used actively.

•          Door delivery and distribution services in mostly affected Kahramanmaraş has actively resumed.

•          Hatay and Adıyaman PTT Offices are still shorthanded. Construction works are ongoing (mostly container houses for PTT Staff) and expected to be completed anytime soon. So, priority for delivery in those cities is given for donations and humanitarian aids and official institutions for the time being. Individual items are delivered at prefabricated container PTT Offices or PTT Centers which have not been affected by earthquakes.

•          Request for address changes and door delivery at the new address is provided for all earthquake victims who have changed their locations (moved to other cities).
