Macao Post, the People’s Republic of China’s designated operator for Macao, has informed that the state of immediate prevention ended at 12.00 local time on Tuesday, 2 August 2022. All postal services are back to normal as of that date, including provision of written proof of delivery for inbound EMS items to personal addressees.

All government bureaus will be closed from 18 to 23 July 2022, except those providing urgent and indispensable services to the public, in order to adopt strict epidemic control measures.

Update of 14.07.2022:
Macao Post, the People’s Republic of China’s designated operator for Macao, informs that, in accordance with Dispatch No. 116/2022 of the Chief Executive, all government bureaus will be closed from 11 to 17 July 2022, except those providing urgent and indispensable services to the public, in order to adopt strict epidemic control measures.
Deliveries of letter-post items, advice notes for parcel-post items and EMS items are therefore suspended with effect from 11 July 2022 until further notice. The call centre for the Parcel Service, Mail Handling and Distribution Centre (EMS) is also closed from the above date until further notice.

Update of 05.07.2022:
Macao Post, the People’s Republic of China’s designated operator for Macao, informs that deliveries of letter-post items and advice notes for parcel-post items resumed on 4 July 2022. To maintain social distancing, notification will be issued to the addressee for the collection of registered mail at designated post offices until further notice.
The call centre for the Parcel Service, Mail Handling and Distribution Centre also resumed operations on 4 July 2022.
Outbound services for EMS and parcel-post items will, however, continue to be suspended until further notice.
